How to Make Automatic Reminders for Meetings and Assigned Tasks Using Google Calendar
Let's say you're organizing a meeting and you want to make sure that nobody forgets it. But you don't also like sending reminders minutes before the start of the meeting. So what shall we do?
Among the many uses of Google Calendar, setting automatic reminders especially via email is also one of its best features. To do this, you simply log in to your account, and then follow the steps below:
1. Plot your event in the calendar. In your Google calendar, click or tap on the date of the event or meeting, and then type the title of the event in the pop-up window.
2. Click More options to add the time of the event and the reminder.
3. Uncheck "All day" setting
4. Set the start and end time of the event.
5. To set the reminder, click the Notification button to open the options, and then select Email. Don't forget to set the number of minutes of hours you want before Google Calendar sends the reminder to the target participants of the event.
6. Insert the email address of the event participants in the Guests field, and then press enter.
7. Finally, click "Save". From here, Google Calendar will be sending reminder to the people you invited to the event on the time you've set.
