For What is the Home and End key of the Computer Keyboard?

Aside from your computer's mouse or touchpad, what do you use in navigating up and down your browser or document? Most of us would normally depend on the arrow keys in navigating our desktop computers apart from the mouse and the touchpad. However, doing so can also be time consuming.

Home and End Keys

Home and End are just two important navigation keys in our keyboards that serve like shortcuts when we need to move straight ahead to the bottom of the document or of a webpage, or when we need to go back straight to the top. They both help us a great deal of  time instead of pressing the up and down arrow keys multiple times.

In video and sound editing softwares, Home and End are also used as shortcut keys in moving the playhead of the video or audio file in either at the beginning or end of the track.

Page Up and Page Down

Another very helpful navigation keys are the Page Down and Page Up. You can both find these two keys just adjacent to the Home and End. We use them just like the up and down arrows keys. The only difference is that they take us a few more steps ahead so they are most helpful if you are trying to scan a document or a web page.
